What is Siri and how do I set it up on my iPhone?

Siri is a digital and voice assistant that is available on Apple's iPhone, iPad and iWatch. Siri is already on your iPhone.
To set up Siri you must have the latest version of the Westpac Mobile banking app on an iPhone operating iOS11 or above, with fingerprint or FaceID simple sign in enabled.

 

To use Siri:

  • Press and hold the 'Home' button at the bottom centre of your iPhone (or the side button for iPhone X).  You will hear two beeps or vibrations to indicate Siri is active.
  • You are now ready to ask Siri to transact on the Westpac app.
