What happens if my mobile number changes or I need to change my PayID?
If your mobile number or your ABN changes, you will need to call us on 1300 655 505 to cancel your current PayID. You cannot edit an existing PayID online.
If your mobile number has changed, you will first need to update your Westpac SMS ProtectTM number, then you can create a new PayID in the Westpac App or Online Banking.
Once your ABN has been updated with us either in your Westpac Online Banking or by visiting a branch, you can create a new PayID in the Westpac App or Online Banking. You may need to provide additional business justification to us in a branch.
