How much money can I send overseas from Australia?
To make an international money transfer the following limits should be considered:
- A Daily Payment Limit is the amount of money you can transact per day within Online Banking, or the Westpac App. The default Daily Payment Limit is $750 per day for your Online Banking profile and can be changed via Online Banking or the Westpac App.
- The maximum amount on any one international transaction is AUD$2,000,000 equivalent.
- For amounts up to AUD $200,000 you will require to be registered for Westpac Protect™ SMS code.
- For amounts above AUD $200,000 organise a SecurID® Token by calling 1300 655 505.
