How can I track the progress of my International payment?
Payment tracking can be completed in Online Banking and the App. Where available, the following tracking information will display:
- Progress updates
- Intermediary and receiving banks
- Dates and times of updates
In the Westpac App
Option 1: Payments list
- Sign in and tap Payments (bottom menu), then Manage (top menu).
- Tap All payments and select your international payment.
- The payment details screen will show tracking information
Option 2: Transaction details
- Sign in and tap Accounts, then select the account used for the payment.
- From the transaction list, select the international payment.
- Tap View payment and tracking details to open the payment details screen.
- Tracking information will display as above.
In Online Banking
Option 1: Payments list
- Sign in and select Payments list from the Payments menu.
- Click the Past tab and select your international payment.
- Tracking information appears at the end of the Payment summary section.
Option 2: Transaction details
- Sign in and select the account used for the payment from the Overview page.
- From the transaction list, select the international payment.
- Click View payment and tracking details to open the Payment screen.
- Tracking information will display as above.
Note: Updates depend on other banks. Some may take longer or may not provide tracking.
