What kind of cheques can I deposit?

The Westpac mobile cheque feature can accept most personal and business cheques. Please visit one of our branches to discuss your deposit of foreign cheques*, traveller's cheques or money orders.

*From 30 April 2021, Westpac branches are no longer able to process foreign currency cheques in Canadian Dollars (CAD), Great British Pounds (GBP), New Zealand Dollars (NZD) and US Dollars (USD) to your account. All other currencies were removed in September 2020.

 If you have an ongoing need to receive funds in foreign currency, you can receive payments through an international money transfer directly into your account. You can find additional information about international payments, including details on fees, on our website.
