Need bank-issued documents for an application?

Download a Proof of balance or a Recent transactions  report. No need to visit a branch or wait for your next statement.

Which document do I need?

  • Use Proof of balance if you need to provide information about your current account balance
  • Use Recent transactions to show transactions for your preferred time period. You can select up to one year of past account history. This is useful if you need to show your regular expenses or savings history

Both documents include:

  • Your name and address
  • The current date
  • PDF formatting on Westpac letterhead

Tip: Once you have downloaded your documents you can upload them to Centrelink if required. You can also print them out at home and keep a paper copy

How to download your Proof of balance and Recent Transactions report

  • Sign in to Online Banking
  • In the Overview tab on the menu bar, select Proof of balance and transactions from the drop-down list
  • Select the account you want to generate the reports from and select Create report
