Overview

You can use this form to request documents that are unavailable online. Requested documents can be from accounts that have been closed less than seven years ago.

If you need multiple documents, please submit a separate request for each document.

Home Loans

Closure letter 

A letter confirming the home loan has been paid in full and closed, including the date of closure.

Personal Loans

Closure letter 

A letter confirming the personal loan has been paid in full and closed, including the date of closure. For Secured loans this will include details of the security that was held.

Statement(s) for closed loan

A copy of the final statement, the last 12 months of statements before loan closure, or statements issued in the last financial year before loan closure.

Credit Cards

Flexi loan closure letter

A letter confirming the Flexi loan has been closed, including the date of closure.

Credit card closure letter

A letter confirming a credit card has been closed in accordance with the terms and conditions including the date of closure.

Savings & Transactions Account

Closure letter

A letter confirming the account has been closed, including the date of closure (excluding Term Deposits).

What can’t you request?

Using this form, you won’t be able to request:

  • Statements for closed accounts that are available through the Statements section in the Westpac App or Online Banking
  • Account statements for a period outside of your usual statement cycle (e.g. monthly or half yearly)
  • Documents for a customer who is deceased – for assistance with these documents, please access our Bereavement & Deceased Estates: Step by step guide

Accessing your document

Once your document is ready, we’ll email you with instructions for accessing it. You’ll have seven days to download the document from Share files in the Westpac App or Online Banking, after which time you’ll need to submit another request.
