How do pending transactions affect my balance?

Pending transactions affect your balance as the transaction amount will be temporarily held and taken from your available funds.

If you're using a credit card, the amount will only be taken from your account balance once the transaction has finished processing. This usually takes up to 5 business days, but in some cases may take longer. To see how much you can actually spend, check your available funds.

If you're using a debit card, the amount will be taken from your account balance straight away, before the transaction has finished processing.
