Can I cancel a SmartPlan once I have set it up?

You can cancel your SmartPlan at any time, with no cancellation fees.

Any SmartPlan Remaining Balance will revert to the variable interest rate for your balance type or special offer rate as applicable.

For example, if you set up a SmartPlan for a cash advance balance but cancel your SmartPlan early, the variable cash advance interest rate will apply to any amount left unpaid at the time of cancellation.

SmartPlan cancellation takes up to 2 Business Days. We’ll send a notification to your Online Banking message inbox and your nominated email address to confirm once it’s cancelled.

SmartPlan is available now on all Westpac personal credit cards.
