I have a Handycard and a Westpac Debit Mastercard® linked to the same account and received a closure notification for my Handycard. What happens next?


If you already have a Westpac Debit Mastercard® linked to your account, you won’t receive another one. You can continue using your existing Debit Mastercard® without interruption.


Your Handycard will be automatically closed as part of the transition, and we’ll notify you once that’s complete. Your account remains active, and card access continues through your current Westpac Debit Mastercard®.


If you need an additional card, you can request one at no extra cost via Westpac Online Banking or the Westpac App. If you don’t already have Online Banking you can register.
