What does the Handycard closure mean for me?

We’re transitioning eligible Handycards linked to a business account to a Business Visa Debit Card. As a result, Handycards will no longer be available or supported by Westpac.

If your Handycard is ineligible, it will be closed and you won’t receive a replacement Business Visa Debit Card.

When will my Handycard be closed?

Handycards can continue to be used until the closure date specified in the communications we’ve sent to you. After this date, they will no longer work. In these communications, we'll let you know whether your Handycard is eligible for a replacement card or whether it will be closed without a replacement. We'll also send you a confirmation once your Handycard has been closed.

How do I dispose of my Handycard?

For added security, it’s important you dispose of your Handycard safely. Do this by cutting up the card into small pieces, ensuring you break through the chip and magnetic strip.

Who can I contact if I need support?

If you have any questions about this change or would like to discuss alternative card options for your business, we're here to help. Contact us on 132 142 or visit your nearest branch.
