How do I change my debit card daily limit?

You can update your debit card daily transaction limit (tapping/inserting, online payments) and cash withdrawal limit (ATM, EFTPOS cash out, Bank@Post) in Online Banking or the Westpac App. 
 

In the Westpac App

Before trying these instructions make sure you update to the latest version of the app.

  1. Select Change debit card limit or Search debit card limit in the Smart Search bar
  2. Select the card to be updated
  3. Follow prompts to enter the new limit(s)
  4. Tap Continue, Submit then Done.
     

In Online Banking

  1. Select Change debit card limit or Go to Service > Change debit card limit 
  2. Select the card to be updated
  3. Follow prompts to enter the new limit(s)
  4. Tap Continue, Submit then Done.
