Only fully processed (settled) transactions are included in Cash flow or Top Categories insights.

Are tags customisable?
Tags are customisable, which means you can use a combination of letters, numbers, special characters and emojis.

Can anyone else see my transaction tags?
Yes, if you add a tag to a transaction, any other users who have access to your account will see the same tag.

Can I filter the Categories and Cash flow views using my tags?
Yes, in the Categories and Cash flow views, select the filter for tags to choose and view the spending insights for the selected tags. You can filter by single or multiple tags.

Can I see my spend per subcategory?
Yes, simply tap on the subcategory it falls under from the Cashflow or Top Category insights and you’ll see your total spend in that subcategory.

How do I add a tag to a transaction?
You can create one or multiple tags on each transaction that is most relevant to you through the Westpac App.

How do I delete a tag?
To delete a tag, you’ll need to unselect the tag from all the transactions it’s been applied to.

What’s a transaction tag?
A tag is a customisable label that you can add to a transaction using your Westpac App, to help manage your spending.
