What happens after I make an international money transfer online? 

Westpac will endeavour to process your payment as soon as possible after you submit the payment. However, with an international money transfer, the money may not leave your account immediately. You can check your payment listing or transaction details to view the payment receipt. When the transfer has been sent the status will change to ‘sent’ and you can track the progress of the payment.
