What is the difference between selecting eftpos rather than the Mastercard payment option for my Mastercard debit card?

If you use a Mastercard debit card on the Mastercard network the transaction is treated in the same manner as other payments on the Mastercard network. If you use a Mastercard debit card on the eftpos network (select eftpos on your device), it is treated as an eftpos transaction.
