What is my 4-digit passcode and how can I add or change it?

Your 4-digit passcode is the passcode that you created when setting up your Westpac Banking skill. This passcode should be different to your banking PIN, as your passcode will need to be said out aloud. If you set up a 4-digit passcode, you will be prompted to provide your passcode every time you open the Westpac Banking skill. You can interact with the skill for up to 10 minutes without needing to provide the passcode again.

If you have forgotten your passcode, need to change it or bypassed it at set up and now want to set one up, first disable the Westpac Banking skill by:

  1. Opening the Alexa app and navigating to ‘Skills’ in the main menu
  2. Search for ‘Westpac’
  3. Select the ‘Westpac Banking’ skill
  4. ‘Disable skill’.

Or visit alexa.amazon.com.au, navigate to ‘Skills’, search for and select the ‘Westpac Banking’ skill, then select ‘Disable Skill’.

Enable the skill again and create a new 4-digit passcode when prompted.
