Business organisations and sole traders can reset their internet banking password online. This can be done in a few simple steps, making it easy to access Online Banking outside of business hours, or when overseas. 

How to reset your password

  1. Select Forgot customer ID or password? below the sign in button on the Sign in to Westpac Live Business page.
  2. Enter your 8-digit customer ID and date of birth.
  3. Verify with your SMS protect code or RSA token ID code.
  4. Set a new password and confirm. 

Customers with multiple security methods

You can now reset your password online - new from 4 March 2019
  1. Select Forgot customer ID or password? below the sign in button on the Sign in to Westpac Live Business page.
  2. Enter your 8-digit customer ID and date of birth.
  3. Select SMS protect or Secure ID token (if you use both, select your preferred method).
  4. Verify with your chosen SMS protect code or RSA token ID code.
  5. Set a new password and confirm.
