Handycard to Westpac Business Visa Debit Card Daily Limits

Does the new Business Visa Debit Card have different card limits?

Yes. Purchases and cash withdrawals will now have separate daily limits:

• $8,000 for purchases; and
• $2,000 for cash withdrawals
  

Once the new card is active, you can adjust these limits anytime in Online Banking or the Westpac App.

How can I update the Daily Card Limits?

You can update your Business Visa Debit Card daily transaction limit (tapping/inserting, online payments) and cash withdrawal limit (ATM, EFTPOS cash out, Bank@Post) in Online Banking or the Westpac App. 

In the Westpac App:

Before trying these instructions make sure you have the latest version of the app.

1. Select Change debit card limit or search debit card limit in the Smart Search Bar.
2. Select the card to be updated.
3. Follow prompts to enter the new limit(s).
4. Tap Continue, Submit then Done.
    

In Online Banking:

1. Select Change debit card limit or go to Services > Change debit card limit.
2. Select the card to be updated.
3. Follow prompts to enter the new limit(s).
4. Tap Continue, Submit then Done.
