You should activate and set a PIN on your new card as soon as you receive it. Your Handycard will stop working on the 30 of November or 3-5 business days after you activate the new card – whichever comes first.
We’ll automatically close your existing Handycard.
We recommend securely disposing of your Handycard after you have activated your new card. Cut your old Handycard into small pieces, making sure you cut through the chip and magnetic strip.
Yes. After you activate your new Westpac Business Visa Debit Card, you’ll need to set up a new PIN. You’ll receive a separate letter with your new PIN. You can also set your PIN online and start using your new card straight away. If you do this, you can disregard the PIN letter when it arrives.
You can choose to reuse the same PIN on the new card, but you will still need to set up a new PIN to be able to use your card. Please note, to enhance the security of your card, updating your PIN regularly is recommended.
You can register for Westpac Online Banking for 24/7 access to your account, allowing you to activate your card and set up your PIN anytime.
