Be credit savvy: Before applying, consider a realistic credit limit and check all conditions, interest rates, fees and charges on your selected card.
Bonus points promotion: The respective bonus points promotions are available when you apply for a new Altitude Platinum or Altitude Black credit card between 27th October 2017 and 31st January 2018, and spend the minimum amount of $5,000 on eligible purchases on an Altitude Black credit card or $3,000 on eligible purchases on an Altitude Platinum credit card within 90 days from card approval in one or more transactions.
Eligible purchases do not include fees, cash, cash equivalent transactions, BPAY, refunds and balance transfers debited from the card account. The bonus Altitude Points or Qantas Points will be added to your points balance within 12 weeks once you meet the eligible spend criteria. Existing Westpac customers who currently hold an Altitude Platinum or Altitude Black credit card, or who have held one in the last 12 months are not eligible for this offer. Qantas Points earned during a statement cycle are added to your Qantas Points balance on a monthly basis.
Discounted annual card fee in first year promotion: The discounted first year annual card fee promotion is available when you apply for a new Altitude Black card between 27th October 2017 and 31st January 2018. The first annual card fee at the discounted rate will be debited to your card account on your first transaction and the full annual card fee, currently $395, will be debited annually thereafter. Credit criteria, fees and charges apply.
Uber promotion: To be eligible for this offer, customers must apply for a new Westpac Altitude credit card between 27th October 2017 and 31st January 2018, and register their Westpac Altitude credit card as their payment option on their Uber account. Westpac will cover up to $20 for every 3rd Uber ride paid for using the new Westpac Altitude credit card until 31st August 2018 ("Offer Period"). Discounted rides must be used before 31st August 2018 (one use per ride). This promotion is not available to existing Westpac Altitude credit card holders. Rides cannot be saved. A maximum of $250 in free rides per customer applies during the Offer Period. The offer is valid for Uber rides in Australia only. Only rides paid for using your Personal profile are eligible. The offer excludes Business and Family profiles, uberTAXI rides and rides using the split fare option. You will be notified in the Uber app when the promotion has been activated on your Uber account. If the ride cost exceeds $20, the remaining balance will be charged to your Westpac card. The promotion will end at the end of the Offer Period or when the maximum of $250 in discounted rides has been taken by the eligible customer. This offer includes Uber accounts that are linked to a Westpac Altitude credit card with a joint account. Valid in Australia only. Eligible rides are rides paid for using Personal profile only. Rewards Points: Depending on your choice of rewards program, you can earn Altitude Points or Qantas Points on your eligible purchases. The earning and redemption of Altitude Points and Qantas Points is subject to the Altitude Rewards and Altitude Qantas Terms and Conditions. You do not receive points if your card account is in arrears for 2 consecutive statement cycles and in other circumstances. You do not earn Altitude Points or Qantas Points on payments to the Australian Taxation Office.

Priority Pass Membership: To enrol, go to prioritypass.com/axwestpacblack Lounge usage in excess of two visits and all guest visits will be charged directly to your Altitude Black American Express Card at the visit fee of currently US$27 per person, per visit. The first two visits within each 12 month membership period are complimentary to the primary cardholder only, after which every visit would be charged as per the prevailing rates. Any accompanying guests will be charged US$27 per visit, which will be automatically charged on the cardholder's Altitude Black American Express Card. The date of visits determines which year of membership the visit is allocated to. Unused visits cannot be carried forward to the following year of membership. Qantas Club Lounge Invitations: To be eligible for the two complimentary Qantas Club Lounge invitations, you must register at loungepass.altitudeblack.com.au and then use your Altitude Black Card in Australia to purchase selected Qantas products and services. Selected Qantas products and services are the following items purchased directly from Qantas: Qantas passenger flights (with a QF flight number), Qantas Frequent Flyer and Qantas Club membership joining and annual fees. Excludes Jetstar, Qantas Holidays, Qantas branded non-airfare products and any Qantas products and services not purchased directly from Qantas. Each year you will receive two complimentary lounge invitations once you have made the required spend on selected Qantas products and services.
Qantas Club Lounge Invitations are provided courtesy of Westpac, and are valid for Qantas Club and Qantas operated International Business Lounges only. Not valid in International First Class lounges, Chairman's Lounge, Qantas Domestic Business, Qantas oneworld® alliance airline, partner airline of associated lounges. Each invitation is valid for a single visit before the date specified on the invitation, when travelling with Qantas or Jetstar with a QF or JQ flight number. Access and use is subject to Qantas Club rules.
The two Qantas Club Lounge invitations will be sent to your card account mailing address within 4 weeks of your eligible card spend, provided you are not in breach of the Conditions of Use and your account remains open. The two Qantas Club Lounge invitations will expire on the date printed on the invitations. Qantas Club Lounge invitations will not be issued to customers who do not first register at loungepass.altitudeblack.com.au prior to making the eligible card spend.
Altitude Rewards: You must be a member of the relevant frequent flyer program to redeem Altitude Points for frequent flyer points. The Altitude Rewards Terms and Conditions and the terms and conditions of the relevant frequent flyer program apply. A joining fee may apply. Availability of Reward flights may be limited. Altitude Qantas: In order to earn and redeem points, you must be a member of the Qantas Frequent Flyer program.
Qantas & Partner Classic Reward Seats are subject to capacity controls and availability is limited. The number of seats available depends on the flight, date, season and destination. Some flights may not have any Classic Reward seats available. For Classic Reward flights, taxes, fees and carrier charges are payable in addition to the points required, are subject to change and are quoted at the time of booking. Reward flights must be booked at least 24 hours before scheduled departure (and other advance booking requirements may apply).
Flight Upgrades are subject to capacity controls and availability is limited. Flight upgrades are not available on Classic Rewards or on international airfares booked in E, N, O, P, Q, and X class (which includes some Any Seat Rewards and some Red e-Deals). You must have an eligible paid and confirmed ticket on a Qantas operated service (with a QF flight number on your ticket).
Qantas & Jetstar Any Seat Rewards are available on any flight with a QF or JQ flight number. The points required will be quoted when booked. There is no fixed relationship between the cash price charges by the applicable airline for a seat and the points required to redeem an Any Seat Reward through Qantas Frequent Flyer. Special promotional fares may not apply. Reward flights must be booked at least 24 hours before scheduled departure (and other advanced booking requirements may apply).
