Response to Virgin Australia's Voluntary Administration Announcement

Spotify Premium (monthly Spotify subscriptions) purchases made at Spotify’s Australian website, are eligible for Accelerated Earn. Ticket purchases or merchandise purchased through Spotify are not eligible for Accelerated Earn Bonus Points.

As a current American Express Westpac Altitude Card Bundle cardholder, you are eligible for complimentary Overseas Travel Insurance cover, provided:

  1. You either permanently reside in Australia or hold a current and valid residency Visa and reside in Australia; and
  2. To redeem your Economy X Seat Upgrade vouchers you must first book an eligible domestic flight directly with Virgin Australia. As part of reviewing your application we look at the information on your credit report, which is produced by an independent credit bureau. It’s a good idea to view your own credit report and check your details are correct before starting your application. Westpac Altitude Platinum Mastercard

>Bonus Altitude or Qantas Points Promotion Altitude Platinum: To qualify for this promotion you must apply and be approved for a new Altitude Platinum card between 1st April 2020 and 5th August 2020 and spend the minimum amount of $3,000 on eligible purchases on an Altitude Platinum card within 90 days from card approval in one or more transactions. The bonus Altitude Points or Qantas Points will be added to your points balance within 12 weeks once you meet the eligible spend criteria.
