We’ve redesigned the Westpac App to make it easier to find and manage your cards, giving you greater control and flexibility.

Activating your card

When you receive a new Westpac card, it’s now easier to activate it.

Just head to the Cards Hub, with your Westpac card details ready and you'll be good to go in minutes.

Digital Card

It's a digital version of your card, instantly available 24/7 in the Cards Hub.

Use it to shop online and pay bills with the added security of a dynamic CVC that updates every 24 hours.

Change your card PIN

For personalised security, choose your own card PIN.

Protect your money by setting or changing your card PIN anytime in the Cards Hub.

Find Cards Hub with Smart Search

Simply type Cards Hub in the Smart search bar to manage and control your cards easily through the Westpac App.

Card Lock

If you’ve misplaced your card and there’s a chance you’ll find it, a temporary lock keeps your card secure while you look for it. 

Once you've found it, you can unlock it, or if you can't find it report it lost or stolen.

Report a card lost or stolen

Don’t panic, just let us know what happened.

Go into the Cards Hub to tell us immediately about any suspicious transactions or cancel a card you know you’ve lost or has been stolen. You can then order a replacement card if needed.

Card damaged or expired?

If your card is damaged, faded or won’t tap, ordering a new one online or in Cards Hub is simple.

Your replacement card will have the same card number, so you won’t need to update any regular payments or your Digital Card.

Before trying these instructions make sure you update to the latest version of the app.  

  1. Select the Cards menu at the bottom of your home screen
  2. Access your Digital Card and other card management features

    Automatically makes your monthly credit card repayments or PartPay payments from both Westpac and non-Westpac transaction accounts so you’ll never forget.

    With Push Notifications, receive messages on your mobile when money goes in and out of your accounts, a credit card repayment is due, or you've changed your daily limit or contact details.

The Instant Digital Card is only available in the Westpac App and supported with the latest version of the Westpac App. The terms and conditions applicable to your product also apply to the use of your digital card. Online Banking Terms & Conditions also apply. You may not always be able to access your digital card.

Cards to which a temporary lock can be applied will be listed when you sign into Westpac App or Online Banking and visit Lock a card temporarily under Cards services. Available on personal credit and Mastercard® debit cards only.

No additional cardholders allowed on Flex Card.

Debit Mastercard®: holders need to be at least 8 years of age and have an Australian residential address to be eligible for the card.
