Choosing a Westpac business transaction account
If you don’t already have a business transaction account and you’re applying online, choose a Business One, Business One Plus or Community Solutions account.

Apart from the 1.4% transaction fee for Visa and Mastercard1, when you use OnlinePay to accept card and wallet payments, the only other applicable fees will be chargeback fees.

OnlinePay provides robust security with PCI DSS compliance accreditation and 3D Secure. 3D Secure provides an extra layer of protection for your business and customers for their online purchases. 3D Secure deters unauthorised card use and helps you to reduce fraudulent activity and chargebacks.
Approval usually takes 2 business days. Once approved, you'll receive a welcome email and your login details for the OnlinePay dashboard.

To set up a payment link from the OnlinePay dashboard:
1) Enter the transaction details, including the amount and product details
2) A link is generated, which you share with your customer via the channel of your choice
3) The customer clicks on this link, which is directed to a secure page where they can complete the transaction. The payment can also be 3D Secure authenticated.

1. 1.4% flat rate pricing: Applies to Mastercard and Visa payments by card or digital wallet.
2. Please ensure you contact your cart provider to understand any fees or charges that may apply with these vendors when using OnlinePay.
3. Same day settlement: Subject to system availability, settlement is performed directly after business day cut off. Business day cut-off for OnlinePay takes place 7-days a week at 8:00pm (Sydney time). Settlement must be to an eligible Westpac business transaction account.
4. The dashboard can be used to view transactions made via EFTPOS Now, EFTPOS Now with Presto and EFTPOS Flex.
# If you want to accept American Express or JCB cards you will need to enter separate agreements with American Express or JCB International.
