- After 11:00pm (it will be processed the next day)

No. EFTPOS Now with Presto connect to the bank and compatible POS software via Wi-Fi. EFTPOS Flex connects via Wi-Fi or ethernet connection.
Westpac EFTPOS with Presto accepts Visa, Mastercard®, eftpos and UnionPay. Plus Apple Pay, Google PayTM, Samsung PayTM and Garmin Pay.
If you want to accept American Express® and JCB, you'll need to call 1300 363 614 to enter into a separate merchant agreement with American Express.

Things you should know
^ $0 eftpos, Mastercard and Visa merchant fees for 3 months (Offer) To be eligible for the offer, you must have an application approved for an EFTPOS Air, EFTPOS Now with Presto or EFTPOS Flex merchant facility between 1 July 2026 and 30 September 2026 (Offer Period) and settle into a Westpac Business transaction account.
Offer details:
- EFTPOS Air - 0% flat transaction rate for eftpos, Mastercard, Visa cards for 3 months. After this date, the standard flat transaction rate will apply, in accordance with our Terms and Conditions. The current standard flat transaction rate is 1.4%.
- EFTPOS Now with Presto and EFTPOS Flex – 0% flat transaction rate for eftpos, Mastercard, Visa and UnionPay cards, plus a $0 monthly terminal fee per device for 3 months. After this date, the standard flat transaction rate and monthly terminal fee will apply, in accordance with our Terms and Conditions. The current standard flat transaction rate is 1.2%, plus the current monthly terminal fee of $24.75 per device.
Exclusions:
- Applications completed through digital channels for EFTPOS Air are excluded from the offer.
- Our flat transaction rate pricing excludes Amex and JCB cards, as this is set by Amex and subject to their eligibility and application criteria.
- Request-based or event-driven merchant facility fees, such as terminal accessories, excessive chargeback and equipment not returned/damaged will still apply. Details can be found in Your guide to merchant fees and charges (PDF 105KB).

American Express (Amex) Gift Card Offer† – Terms and Conditions
- Eligible merchants who take up the $0 eftpos, Mastercard and Visa merchant fees for 3 months offer, and successfully establish a new Amex merchant facility within the same application, between 1 July 2026 and 30 September 2026 (Offer Period) receive a one-off $100 AUD Gift Card from Amex (Gift Card Offer).
- To qualify for the Gift Card Offer, a merchant must:
- consent to Westpac sharing a valid business email address with Amex, who will share it with its third-party provider, Blackhawk Network, for the purpose of fulfilling the Gift Card. For more information about how Amex will deal with your information see the Amex Privacy Policy;
- be approved and onboarded as a new Amex merchant during the Offer Period;
- be onboarded to an EFTPOS Now with Presto, EFTPOS Flex, or EFTPOS Air merchant facility during the Offer Period; and
- enter into a separate merchant agreement with Amex during the Offer Period.
- Approval, pricing, eligibility, and ongoing participation for Amex acceptance are determined solely by Amex, not Westpac.
- Amex will contact each eligible merchant within sixty (60) days of the eligible merchant’s enablement to accept Amex Cards, providing details on how to redeem the applicable Gift Card.
- Westpac does not guarantee approval for, or the terms of, Amex acceptance.
- Fulfilment of the Gift Card will be managed by Amex or its nominated third-party provider.
- Westpac does not issue, administer, replace, or redeem the Gift Card and is not responsible for any delays, errors, loss, expiry, or disputes in connection with the Gift Card.
Electronic Fall Back is subject to card type and transaction (floor) limits.
