How to Apply Online
You can apply online if your business structure is a partnership, Australian proprietary company, Australian public company or incorporated association, meets eligibility criteria and is not a corporate trustee of a self-managed super fund. Frequently asked questions
A business credit card can have personal or business liability. This just means who will repay transactions made on the credit card.
- Personal Liability. The business owner is personally responsible for all transactions on the credit card account. It’s suited for small businesses (including sole traders and partnerships) where the business owner takes personal responsibility for the balance owing on the credit card account.
Applying for Personal Liability
For Personal Liability you will need to provide details of your individual income, employment, personal expenses and liabilities.
- Business Liability. The Business is liable for the payment for all transactions on the facility. It’s suited for business entities where the owners or other responsible individuals would prefer the business, rather than themselves to be liable for the balance owing on the facility.
Applying for Business Liability
For Business Liability applications you will need to provide details of the Businesses income, expenses, liabilities and assets together with supporting information.
An eligible purchase is a transaction made using a business credit card to earn rewards points.
You will not earn points on the following transactions:
- BPAY payments,
- Balance Transfers
- Cash Advance
- Interest and other bank fees and charges
- Government charges (other than GST payable in connection with the purchase of goods or services on which you earn points)
- Purchase refunds and other credits such as cash back, made to your business credit card

Up to 100,000 Qantas Business Bonus Points Offer (‘Bonus Points’) is available for new BusinessChoice Platinum Rewards credit card applications which are approved from 28 January 2026 and meet the promotional bonus points offer criteria. You must spend a minimum of $6,000 on eligible purchases in the first 90 days, from card approval to receive 70,000 bonus Qantas Points. Points will be issued within 3 months of meeting the minimum spend criteria. Receive an additional 30,000 Qantas Bonus Points if your account remains open and active for more than 15 months, from card activation. If you do not meet the minimum spend within 90 days of card approval, you forfeit the initial 70,000 bonus points only. However, you are still eligible for 30,000 bonus points in the second year, if your account is active and not in default.
Eligible purchases do not include fees, cash advances, cash equivalent transactions, BPAY, BPAY equivalent transactions, refunds and balances transfers debited from a card account.
This offer excludes: Transactions that have not cleared or have been refunded before the end of the first 90 days from approval, customers who switch or upgrade from another Westpac business credit card product, customers accessing employee and family benefits offers or customers who have held another Business credit card within the last 12 months.

Earning and redeeming Qantas Points: To use Qantas Points earned by your business, simply transfer them to any Qantas Frequent Flyer account (Qantas Point earn rates may vary between Qantas Partners). Qantas Partner conditions and earning thresholds apply. We recommend you consult your accountant or tax adviser to ensure you understand possible tax implications, for example fringe benefits tax (if applicable). You must be a Qantas Frequent Flyer member to earn and redeem Qantas Points. Membership and the earning and redemption of Qantas Points are subject to the Qantas Frequent Flyer program terms and conditions. A joining fee may apply. You do not earn Qantas Points on use of a card or card account where for that statement period, a Billing Account or card account is in arrears or over limit at the end of that statement period. Any Qantas Points earned in that relevant statement period will be forfeited.
^Points Cap: For BusinessChoice Rewards Platinum cards, earn 0.75 Qantas Points per $1.50 spent on eligible business purchases and 0.5 Qantas Points per $1.50 spent on Government payments up to a maximum of 100,000 Qantas Points per facility per month. This limit resets each month based on your facility’s statement date. Bonus Points earned are not a part of your monthly cap.

Bank feeds must be set up with third-party service provider before it can be connected in Westpac Online Banking. If your third-party service provider doesn’t appear in the drop-down menu in Westpac Online Banking, you may need to check that your third-party service provider is registered with Westpac. Should there be any changes to your user access or network access levels, you may need to disconnect your bank feed(s) as any access changes won’t impact bank feeds. The products and services offered by third-party service providers are subject to their own terms and conditions and fees and charges.
