Setting up automatic payments from your credit card
Contact the service provider you want to set up an automatic payment with.
You’ll need to supply them with:
- Your Westpac credit card number
- Credit card expiry date.
- Card verification number - this is the last 3 digits on the back of your Visa or MasterCard® or the 4 digits on the right hand side on the front of your American Express® card.
With some service providers you’ll be able to supply your details on their website. However, with some providers you’ll need to supply your details over the phone or in writing.
Transferring existing automatic payments to your new Westpac credit card
If you have existing payments being debited from an old credit card, you’ll need to let them know your new card details.
How to let service providers know you’re changing your payment details
- Give them a call
- Check their website to see if you can update your details online.
