Set or Change your card PIN

  • You will be asked to create a PIN when you activate your new card
  • You can change your PIN at any time with Online Banking or the Westpac App.

How to change your card PIN

Don’t forget to activate your new card before setting your PIN.

 

In the Westpac App

Before trying these instructions make sure you  update to the latest version of the app.  ​
  1. ​Tap Cards in the bar menu
  2. Or search Set or change card PIN in the Smart Search bar and follow the prompts

In Online Banking

  1. Tap Cards in the bar menu
  2. Or search Set or change card PIN in the Smart Search bar and follow the prompts

In the Westpac iPad App

  1. Go to Self service > Account Services
  2. Tap Set or change PIN

Which cards are eligible to have a PIN change online?

  • New or replacement Debit Mastercards® issued after 1 March 2015
  • New or replacement Credit Cards issued after 1 April 2016
  • All Westpac Handycards, regardless of issue date.
