New Restaurant Merchants

Merchant Facilities are established to allow your Agency to accept debit and credit card payments.

Licensee Owned Restaurants

Card Present (In-restaurant Merchant Terminals)

To establish a new McDonald's Merchant facility, complete the following form:

Card Present (In-restaurant Merchant Terminals) & Card not Present (Mobile Ordering App)

One form is to be completed for each restaurant as Westpac organise the establishment of both merchant facilities (Merchant ID for In-restaurant Terminals & Merchant ID for Mobile Ordering App).

Completion of application form for new licenses:

  • Select Additional Outlet
  • Section 1: Trading name - must be McDonalds “(restaurant name)” and must not exceed 21 characters. Eg McDonalds Sydney (no apostrophe).
  • Section 3: Contact Details to include the Licensee’s McDonalds Licensee email address (not a personal email address).
  • Section 7: Declaration and Privacy Consent - Ensure execution by two Company Directors or one Company Director and one Company Secretary, or, if a Sole Director company, the Sole Director is to authorise solely.
  • Direct Debit Request will also need to be completed and signed accordingly.

Corporate Owned Restaurants

Card Present (In-Restaurant Merchant Terminals)

Contract agreement for New Restaurants and relevant merchant establishment details are sent to Westpac by Fujitsu on behalf of McDonald’s Australia. Merchant Facilities are established in accordance with specified restaurant Go-Live date. Confirmation and template are provided by Fujitsu to Westpac and Ingenico.

Card not Present (Online Ordering App)

Contract agreement for New Restaurants and relevant merchant establishment details are sent to Westpac by Fujitsu on behalf of McDonald’s Australia. Merchant Facilities are established in accordance with specified restaurant Go- Live date.
