Change of Ownership Merchants (Store Handover)

Merchant Facilities are established to allow your Agency to accept debit and credit card payments.

Licensee Handover to McDonald’s Corporate

Card Present (In-store Merchant Terminals)

Contract agreement for Corporate Owned Stores and relevant merchant establishment details are sent to Westpac by McDonald’s Australia. Merchant Facilities are established in accordance with specified store hand over date.

Card not Present (Online Ordering app)

Contract agreement for Corporate owned stores and relevant merchant establishment details are sent to Westpac by McDonald’s Australia. Merchant Facilities are established in accordance with specified store handover date.

Card Present (In-store Merchant Terminals)

To establish a new Merchant facility, complete the McDonald's Merchant Application Form (PDF 81KB)  

Card Present (in store merchant terminals) & Card not Present (mobile ordering app)

One form is to be completed for each store, for both card present (In-Store Terminals) and not-present (Mobile Ordering App) Merchant facilities. Westpac organise the establishment of both merchant facilities.

Completion of application form for all merchants required:

  • Select Change of Ownership
  • Section 1: Trading name - must be Mcdonalds “(store name)” and must not exceed 21 characters. Eg McDonalds Sydney (no apostrophe).
  • Section 3: Contact Details to include the Licensee’s McDonalds Licensee email address (not a personal email address).
  • Section 7: Declaration and Privacy Consent - Ensure execution by two Company Directors or one Company Director and one Company Secretary, or, if a Sole Director company, the Sole Director is to authorise solely.
  • Direct Debit Request will also need to be completed and signed accordingly.
