We’re making changes to simplify our fee structure

From 1 August 2025, existing customers who have a BPAY, BankRec and/or iLink facility may see some changes to fees charged. 

Changes are summarised below and will be reflected in customers' Tax Invoice/Billing Statement (“Statement”) from 1 September 2025*.

*This notice replaces information previously disclosed in customers’ agreements with Westpac prior to 1 August 2025. Some changes may not impact specific customers, where a particular fee has not been quoted to them previously. All other fees remain as previously agreed with Westpac. If there are any other further changes, we will advise customers directly in writing.

We’re consolidating and renaming some fees

We’re combining (consolidating) some fees which will reduce the number of fees presented in your Statements. We will also be updating some fee names.

Where fees are consolidated:

• The amount you are charged will not increase
• Your current fees  may be presented under a different fee name or fee code
• We will apply the lowest rate where fees with varying amounts are being consolidated.

Changes to iLink fees

Changes will be made to the following iLink fee names.

 

The current iLink fees below will be replaced by the updated fee name (fee code): iLink Tiered Monthly Fee (QWIBSMT1).
 

Changes to BPAY fees

The current BPAY fees below will be replaced by the updated fee name (fee code): BPAY Transaction - Other Bank (ERIBODR).

Changes to BPAY Associate Membership fees

The current BPAY Associate Membership fees below will be replaced or retained by the fee name (fee code): BPAY License Fee (BPAYLSFE).  The product name for this fee is also changing. Refer to the next section.

Changes to BankRec fees

We’re updating the names of some products presented in your Statements

The following fees which may have previously been presented in your Statements as either BPAY Associate Membership or BPAY Payer Institution Member (PIM) fees will be presented under the new product grouping: BPAY Payer Institution Member (PIM) & Associate Member.  There are no changes to fee names, codes or amounts due to these changes unless otherwise noted on this page. 
 

The following fees previously disclosed to you in your Statements under the product name of QuickRec will be presented under the product name BankRec.  There are no changes to fee amounts.

You’re not required to take any action, however we encourage you to please consider whether there may be impacts to your reconciliation processes due to these changes.
