GTS is a critical source of funding for the Institutional Bank balance sheet enabling extension of our key credit products. GTS also manages the payments infrastructure for all of Westpac Group.

What our graduates have to say
"The GTS Graduate Program gave me a strong foundation to start my career and truly understand how the different parts of the business come together. From early on, I was exposed to meaningful work, real accountability, and a wide range of stakeholders.
My first rotation was with the Pricing & Billing Transformation program, where I worked closely with cross functional teams, analysed data, and took ownership of deliverables that contributed to broader program outcomes. I was given the opportunity to run with a piece of work end to end, which helped me build confidence and develop a solid understanding of how pricing and billing operate across GTS.
My second rotation in Client Engagement offered a completely different, but equally valuable, experience. I rotated across several teams, gaining firsthand exposure to the full client lifecycle from onboarding to the ongoing delivery of services. This experience gave me a big picture perspective on how the different teams work together which is rare to gain so early in your career.
Since rolling off the program...
I’ve transitioned into a Product Manager role within Domestic Payments & Liquidity. I draw on my graduate experience constantly, as the exposure to multiple teams and ways of working has helped me approach problems more holistically and collaborate effectively across functions.
Overall, the GTS Graduate Program not only supported my technical development but also gave me clarity on the type of work I enjoy, the skills I want to continue building, and the confidence to take early ownership of my career."
