How the program works

1. Join the program

Sign up your organisation to be part of the Westpac Migrant Referrer Program. Your organisation and migration agents will need to meet certain criteria.

2. Refer new arrivals

Once you have permission from your clients, share your referral link with them. The link will direct them to a Westpac webpage to learn more about Westpac’s banking products and services.

3. Receive a referral fee

When your client opens an account and meets the simple criteria, Westpac will provide a referral fee to your organisation.

Here’s what you need to confirm about the organisation:

  • It has been operating in the industry for a minimum of twelve months
  • The registered business address
  • It has an ABN and is registered for GST
  • The registered company website.

  • Submit your Referrer Program application (your BDM can assist) for due diligence checks for both your organisation and migration agents
  • Have each of your registered agents complete an Individual Activation form
