What our graduates have to say

“I studied Project Management at the University of Sydney and joined the Rotational Tech Graduate Program because I wanted the freedom to explore different parts of the business. Since this was my first corporate and professional role, I wasn’t sure yet which type of role would suit me best. I chose Westpac because of its strong and supportive environment which helped me explore the bank and find my feet.

The program allowed me to engage with areas of the business I was interested in, and in each rotation, I was built up to become a valued member of the team. I rotated through the Data Portfolio, Information Security Strategy Portfolio, International High Value Payments Projects, and the Virtual Banking Village. In each of these, I built on my core skills—stakeholder engagement, agile delivery, and data analysis—while gaining exposure to different project roles and ways of working across the business.

As part of the grad program, you’re supported by your team, the program structure, and your fellow grads, who all become a vital part of your network during and after the program.”

Since rolling off the program…

“I joined my second rotation team permanently, in International High Value Payments Projects. I work on delivering upgrades and new solutions for the banks international payments core technology infrastructure, pursuing a career in project management.

I’m grateful to the program and my mentors for helping me find my place in the corporate world and setting me up for long-term success, helping me build new skills and making me part of an invaluable network of current and former grads within the bank and across the industry.”
