How to update your mobile banking app
- Open the Play Store app and slide out the left hand menu.
- Tap on My apps, to see apps that have an available update.
- Look for the banking app icon and tap on Update.
- Open the App Store on your iPhone.
- Tap the Updates icon at the bottom of the screen.
How to check what version you are on
Open the Westpac Mobile Banking app and tap the menu button (three purple lines) located at the top left. The version number is displayed at the bottom of the screen.
Check the app version in your iOS settings. The new app version is v9.0.0. You can also visit the App Store.

Some older phones (such as iPhone 5s, iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus and below) and tablets are not compatible with the latest version of the Westpac App, or with the operating system (iOS13+) required to run it.
