How to open a Westpac bank account

Open your account

  1. Gather documents, including an Australian residential address and mobile phone number
  2. Start your application now online or at a branch once you arrive
  3. Once you arrive in Australia, verify your identity to activate your account
  4. You may need to visit a local branch to verify your identity.

Your identification
