Self service Telephone Banking gives you the flexibility to manage your banking when it suits you, wherever you are. You can also get information on products, services, interest rates and fees by speaking to a Banking Representative.

What can you use Telephone Banking for?

  • Check account balances and recent transaction details
  • Find out your BSB and account number
  • Find out how much interest you've earned
  • Transfer funds between your Westpac accounts
  • Make credit card payments
  • Pay any bills where you see the BPAY® logo.

How to use Telephone Banking

Call us

  • Dial 132 032
  • Outside Australia, call +61 2 9155 7700
  • Self-service: available 24/7
  • Staff assistance: 8am-8pm (Sydney time), Mon-Fri

 

  1. Press 1 on your telephone keypad
  2. Enter your 8 digit customer number
  3. Enter your 3 digit access code
  4. Enter your group number (if you are a registered user of the Group Telephone Banking service).

Self Service menu options

  1. Account balances
  2. Transaction details
  3. Funds transfer and credit card payments
  4. Bill payments
  5. Other services:
  • Activate your card
  • Change access codes
  • Enter another customer number
  • BSB information
  • Interest information, including interest earned.

If you need help

  • Press the * key on your telephone keypad
  • Your help options are numbered (use your telephone keypad):

Press 1 – to repeat the last message

Press 2 – to restart current request

Press 7 – to return to the main menu

Press 9 – to end the call or hang up

Group Telephone Banking

Group Telephone Banking allows several people to access nominated accounts belonging to an individual or business. Each individual’s access levels will depend on the banking functions they need to perform.

How do I register for Group Telephone Banking?

Access the Group Telephone Banking Registration form (PDF 851KB).

To make changes to your Group Telephone Banking service

Access the Group Telephone Banking Administration form (PDF 892KB).

 

 Use this form to:

  • Change service details such as mailing address or contact person
  • Remove an account
  • Remove a User
  • Add an account
  • Change User access levels
  • Cancel the service

Fees for using Telephone Banking

There are no account enquiry fees, including checking your account balance and transaction details. An account balance received immediately after, and as part of, a withdrawal transaction is exempt from fees.

How to check a BSB and Account number

This service will confirm the combination of BSB and Account Number is a valid open account. It will not tell you the owner of the account.


Just call us on 132 142 and select option 3.
