Westpac's Connect Now home lending service awarded 'Best Service Innovation' at CXFS Asia Awards

Westpac's Connect Now home lending service won the Best Service Innovation Award at the Customer Experience in Financial Services (CXFS) Asia Awards last night. This is the seventh industry award received for Westpac Consumer Bank this year including the recent AB+F Awards and Asian Banker Retail Financial Services Awards. 

The second annual CXFS Asia Awards were held in Singapore and attended by industry leaders and senior retail bankers from countries across the Asia Pacific, the Gulf and Central Asian regions.

Westpac's Group General Manager of Westpac Retail & Premium Bank, Bernadette Inglis said the award acknowledges Westpac's commitment to delivering outstanding customer experiences through market-leading innovation, and continues on the success of Westpac Connect Now Small Business team's award win for best Omni Channel Customer Experience in Financial Services at the same event last year.

 

"Westpac Connect Now service allows our customers to connect instantly from any Westpac Branch to specialists in home lending, wealth, insurance and business via state of the art video conferencing facilities. This channel helps us to further enrich our relationships with customers and puts us on the path to delivering a world leading digital face to face service experience for our customers.

 

"The award shows how we are continuing to go from strength to strength in serving our home loan customer needs and helping more Australians into their home. So far this year we have helped over 10,000 customers via this channel.

The CXFS Asia Award is the seventh industry award for the Westpac Consumer Bank in 2016 including The Asian Banker Retail Financial Services Awards - Best Retail Bank in Australia, and Internet Banking Product of the Year; AB+F - Best Use of Social Media Westpac ('Get Cash'), and Innovative Mortgage Product of the Year (Wonder); The Adviser Magazine - 2016 Major Lender of the Year; and Mortgage Professional Magazine - 2016 Lender of the Year.
