Programs to help you succeed in tech

Training to reskill

Take the Leap is an internal Westpac program designed to reskill people who want to become part of our digital future, by helping them get up to speed with the concepts and language and tools of the tech industry.  

Networking and support

Westpac Women in Tech has over 2000 members all supporting each other to learn and thrive in tech programs such as Data Gals, hackathons, trivia nights and debates. It’s a safe space to learn, share knowledge, network and be seen.

Sponsoring future leaders

The Rising Women Sponsorship program is designed to support  women to accelerate their development into leadership roles within Westpac. It connects them with influential sponsors who advocate for their promotion and provides opportunities in which they can showcase and demonstrate their skills. So far, over 90 women have been placed through the program.

EmPOWERUP Tech Returnships

If you’ve had a career break of two or more years, then you could qualify for an EmPOWERUP Tech Returnship. Whether you’ve had experience in a tech role or not we’ll give you the skills, training, and support to get back to work in this rapidly growing and exciting sector. Hit return to find out more.
