Get started

Step 1: Go to the Westpac mobile banking app

You can only use Siri on your iPhone.

Step 2: From the app home screen go to the menu on the top left and select Siri and iMessage

Step 3: Follow the prompts to sign in

Sign in using Face ID, Touch ID, or by using your passcode.

Step 4: Select the account you wish to use with Siri

You can only link one transaction account. Balances shown by Siri are those set up in Quick Balance.

Step 5: Start using

Start using Siri for Westpac by saying “Hey Siri, what’s my balance”.

Things you should know

To set up Siri you must have the latest version of the Westpac Mobile banking app on an iPhone operating iOS11 or above, with fingerprint or FaceID simple sign in enabled.

As Siri is a voice activated service, you should be aware of your surroundings when using it. You can only make a payment using Siri to a payee set up in your Payee list in your app. Payments will be made from the transaction account nominated during the Siri setup process.

When checking your balance with Siri, the balances of the accounts set up through Quick Balance will be displayed. If you have not enabled Quick Balance, you will need to set this up first.
