I agree that the Bank and any other member of the Westpac Group (the "Parties") may exchange with each other any information about me including:
If the Parties engage anyone (a "Service Provider") to do something on their behalf (for example a mailing house or a data processor) then I agree the Parties and any Service Provider may exchange with each other any information referred to above.
The Bank might give any information referred to above to entities other than the Parties and any Service Provider where it is required or allowed by law or where I have otherwise consented.
I agree that any information referred to above can be used by the Parties and any Service Provider to open the account(s) I have requested and for account administration, planning, product development and research purposes.
I understand that I can access most personal information that the Parties hold about me (sometimes there will be a reason why that is not possible, in which case I will be told why).
I understand that if I fail to provide any information requested in this form, or do not agree to any of the possible exchanges or uses detailed above, my application may not be accepted by the Bank.

The Westpac Group means Westpac Banking Corporation and its related bodies corporate which include Westpac General Insurance Limited and Westpac Financial Services Limited.
I acknowledge that I will be treated as having applied for credit if I make a transaction which overdraws this account/these accounts. If I do make such a transaction then I agree that I will, at the time the negative balance arises, owe the Bank a debt of the amount by which this account/these accounts are overdrawn. I understand that I will have a period of 20 days within which to repay the debt.
I acknowledge that, if this account/these accounts become overdrawn without arrangement and remain overdrawn for more than 60 days after the end of the 20 day period the bank allows for me to repay the amount overdrawn, then the Bank may commence enforcement action and report my default to a credit reporting agency.
I understand that the Privacy Act (1988) allows the Bank to give a credit reporting agency certain personal information about me including, to the extent applicable:
