Westpac and 'The Pay Off' with Nine's Sylvia Jeffreys come together to boost financial confidence
9 June 2026
Westpac has teamed up with The Pay Off with Sylvia Jeffreys, backing the podcast to bring more practical, real-world financial guidance to young Australians.
The partnership will see Westpac support an eight-part series running from June to November 2026, with the bank’s experts joining conversations that break down the money questions people are already asking in their everyday lives.
Launching today, the first episode features a wide-ranging discussion with Westpac CEO Anthony Miller on the unique financial challenges young people are facing.
Westpac research shows Australians are feeling concerned about the outlook ahead, with global geopolitical tensions and the prospect of further rate rises creating uncertainty around the potential impact to everyday costs.
Westpac CEO Anthony Miller says Australians are seeking straightforward, practical guidance to help people make confident decisions in a changing environment.
“Australians don’t want to be talked at when it comes to their finances, they want to feel part of the conversation and that's what Sylvia does so well on The Pay Off,” Miller said.
“We have deep expertise across the bank, but it only matters if people can apply it to their own lives. From understanding the economy to navigating big milestones like buying a first home, we’ll connect this expertise to real life questions to help people feel more informed about their next step, whatever that might be."
The Pay Off host, Sylvia Jeffreys, said: “At a time of real economic uncertainty, this partnership with Westpac means we can reach more Australians when it matters most – with expert voices on scams, investment and property cutting through the noise on the issues they’re actually navigating.”
The first episode in the series with Westpac CEO Anthony Miller is now live and available across all major platforms, including Apple Podcasts and Spotify.
