Westpac support for customers impacted by Tropical Cyclone Alfred
5 March 2025
Westpac is providing support for customers affected by Tropical Cyclone Alfred.
“We’re already seeing impacts from the Sunshine Coast and into Northern NSW as a result of Tropical Cyclone Alfred, and we want our customers to know we’re here to help,” said Damien MacRae, Westpac General Manager, Retail Banking.
“The immediate focus must be on the emergency response and keeping safe, and our teams are standing by ready to support customers who might need extra care in the coming days and weeks.
“Some of our local branches in impacted areas will be closed until the end of the week to keep our people safe. Customers can still access support through chat and call options available in our app, or by calling our customer service team,” MacRae said.
