FAQs

Deposit account FAQs

If you had funds in your account when it was closed, we have been working to return them to you. If your balance was $10 or more when the account closed, you should have received an email explaining how you’d receive the funds.

Yes. Funds can be transferred to any Australian bank account.

Once we have all the information from you it will take up to a week to process the funds and transfer them to your nominated account.

Once this happens, you will receive a separate email with your remittance advice. It shows the account the funds were transferred to, amount and transfer date.

Once your deposit account was closed, any pending transactions or regular payments were not processed.

Any direct debit payments debited after your account closed were declined. If you haven’t already, you will need to contact the third party who you have authorised to debit your account to make alternative arrangements.

You can still view your account in myRAMS but you will not be able to transact on it.

Your final statement was sent at the end of the month with a zero balance. You can go into myRAMS and download historical statements.
