Westpac Choice
- An everyday account with a Debit Mastercard® to make deposits and withdrawals, payments online or on the Westpac App
$0 Account-Keeping Fee for the first 12 months (usually $5 per month). After this, the fee will continue to be waived if you:
- Deposit at least $2,000 each month
- Are under the age of 30 or are a full-time tertiary student
- You’ll be given your Customer ID and access to Online Banking
- Once you arrive in Australia and have your identity documents verified (either online or in-branch), your account will be activated and you’ll be able to make deposits
- You’re at least 18 years old with details of your initial Australian address. If you’re under 18, we can help you when you arrive in Australia.
