  Be credit savvy: Before applying, consider a realistic credit limit and check all conditions, interest rates, fees and charges on your selected card.

  0% p.a. on purchases for up to 6 months from card approval on a new Low Rate card and any new card from our 55 Day card range
  This special rate applies to purchases made 6 months from the date we approve your new card account. 6 months after this date (as set out in your credit card contract) the purchase rate will convert to the variable purchase rate then applicable to the card. This special promotion is not available with any promotion other than a special balance transfer promotion. Promotion period: 2 April 2013 - 1 July 2013. 

  3.99% p.a. for up to 6 months on balance transfers requested at new card application for new 55 Day and 55 Day Platinum cards. A 1% balance transfer fee applies. Limited time offer.
  This promotional rate applies to balances (min $200) transferred from non Westpac credit, charge or store cards, requested at card application. A balance transfer fee of 1% of the transferred balance(s) will be charged to the card account on the same day these balance(s) are debited to the account. The standard variable interest rate (with no balance transfer fee) applies to balance transfers made at any other time and to promotional amounts unpaid after 6 months. Your card's conditions of use explain how payments you make are applied to these. Interest free days don't apply to balance transfers. Up to 55 interest free days on purchases don't apply to your account until the full balance (including any special purchase or balance transfer promotional amount) is paid by the statement due date.

Your card's conditions of use explain how payments you make are applied to these. Interest free days don't apply to balance transfers. Up to 45 interest free days on purchases don't apply to your account until the full balance (including any special purchase or balance transfer promotional amount) is paid by the statement due date.

  When do special promotions not apply?
  Special promotions (including bonus points, introductory balance transfer rates and purchase rates) don’t apply to customers who obtain a Westpac credit card by switching or upgrading from an existing Westpac card, or accessing Westpac employee benefits, or as part of a package (unless the package conditions state otherwise).
