Is Quick Balance secure?

If you set up Quick Balance your balances will be viewable by anyone who has access to your smartphone (including if you lend it to someone else or it is lost or stolen). However, it's not possible to transfer funds using Quick Balance, you need to be signed in to your account to do this.  Westpac recommends setting a PIN or password on your smartphone, and, for additional protection, installing/enabling remote wipe software on your smartphone.
