Make a claim

How to make a claim

Lodge a claim with Allianz using the online claim form or call 1800 502 077 (24 hours a day, 7 days a week to commence the claims process). You will receive a confirmation number for your reference once it is submitted.

Once it is lodged, a friendly claims consultant will contact you as soon as possible.


If you're involved in an accident

  • Call 1800 502 077 as soon as possible
  • Take all reasonable steps to prevent any further loss or damage from occurring
  • Don’t admit to anyone involved that you were at fault
  • Where reasonably practical, write down the names, addresses and phone number of all drivers, passengers and witnesses involved, the vehicle registration numbers and insurance details of all vehicles involved or any other information that would reasonably allow us to identify the person so we may exercise our rights of recovery and to support your claim

 

After an accident, it's a good idea, where reasonably practical, to obtain the name of the police officer and police station where you made the report, obtain the police event number and the details of those involved in the accident as they may be needed during the processing of any claim.   


If your car is stolen or maliciously damaged

You should call the police as soon as reasonably possible if your car is stolen or maliciously damaged. Where reasonable, you may need to provide the name of the police officer and police stations where you made the report.
