You’ll need:
- To be borrowing at least $150k with us in total for residential property
- An eligible home loan: Rocket Repay variable or Fixed Options home loan (owner occupier or investor)
- To open or already hold a Choice transaction bank account
- To be an individual, or a non-trading company which is trustee for a family trust.
Your packaged fixed or variable home loan includes a Westpac Choice transaction account, with no account-keeping fee[#] ($395 annual package fee applies).
- When you package a Rocket Repay variable home loan, open a Westpac Choice account and link it to your home loan, that transaction account becomes an offset account. Every dollar in your offset lowers your home loan interest.
- Each Rocket loan can be linked with up to 10 offset accounts.
- You can also split your Rocket home loan between multiple loan accounts (you’ll only need to pay one $395 package fee, regardless of how many home loans and linked offsets you have).
Yes, redraw is available on any Fixed Options or Rocket Repay home loan, allowing you to access the extra repayments you’ve made.
- Unlike some other lenders, with Westpac you can redraw[#] extra repayments made on your fixed loan
- No redraw fees
- No min redraw on available funds, and if you stay under your $30k fixed loan prepayment threshold, you avoid the break cost[#] (early repayment fees).
Each day, up to $100k will be available to redraw from your variable rate home loan online or over the phone (unlimited in-branch). For fixed rate home loans you can redraw up to your prepayment threshold during your fixed term.
Yes, you can:
- Split your loan between a packaged Rocket Repay variable rate with offset (2.34% p.a. variable home loan interest rate package discount), and a packaged Fixed Options fixed rate loan (0.20% p.a. fixed interest rate package discount).
- Or split your home loan between a basic Flexi First Option variable rate (package unavailable), and a packaged Fixed Options fixed rate loan (0.20% p.a. package discount on fixed interest rates).
- Split any portion between fixed and variable, as long as your total home loan amount is $150k or more.
