Westpac Foundation invests $500,000 in four social enterprises to help create more job opportunities for vulnerable Australians.

$2.25 million investment to help sustain jobs

Westpac Foundation will provide much needed funding to over 100 local organisations that provide employment, education and training opportunities for some of Australia’s most vulnerable.

Helping for 140 years

Westpac Foundation is a charitable organisation that has been helping people for the past 140 years.

Today, we provide funding and programs to help social enterprises and community organisations taking a fresh approach to complex social issues and creating jobs and opportunities for those who need it most. We are committed to helping to create a more inclusive Australia with a goal to change 100,000 lives for the better by 2030.

Things you should know

Public donations to Westpac Foundation are administered by Westpac Community Limited as trustee for Westpac Community Trust (ABN 53 265 036 982). Westpac Community Trust is a Public Ancillary Fund, endorsed by the ATO as a Deductible Gift Recipient.


The Westpac Foundation adopts the Westpac Group Speaking Up Policy in dealing with whistleblowing disclosures.  A copy of that policy can be viewed here: Westpac Group 'Speaking Up' Policy (PDF 319KB). Some aspects of that policy may not be applicable in the operational environment of the Westpac Foundation.  As such, the Westpac Foundation adopts the Westpac Group Speaking Up Policy to the extent reasonably possible.
