What to do if your card is lost or stolen
Please report a lost or stolen card immediately so that we can stop all transactions on your account immediately.
Call our Cards Customer Service Call Centre:
- Australia – 1300 651 089
- Overseas – When overseas, use an international operator to book a reverse charge call to (+61 3) 6345 1058.
You can also report the loss at any Westpac branch.
How long will it take to get another card?
We will mail a replacement card to you or send it to a branch for you to collect. This will take 4 working days in metro areas and 6 working days in regional areas.
Once you receive your new card, you will need to transfer any recurring payments to your new card.
A courier cost of $40 will be charged to your card for overseas delivery.
Things you should know
- Important: If you are applying for a selected credit card at the same time or after your Premier Advantage Package is set up, or if you are switching or upgrading from an existing Westpac credit card, or if you are accessing employee benefits, you are not eligible for any special promotional offers (such as any promotional balance transfer rate) available at point of application. Please check the details at card application. Fees and charges are payable. Credit card applications are subject to Westpac's normal lending criteria. An additional credit card can be issued on the primary cardholder’s credit card account to any nominated person 16 years or over. All transactions using the additional credit card will be the responsibility of the primary cardholder.
